Directions:

 

When you're heading south from St. John's and arriving in Bay Bulls, turn left onto St. John's Road, just before the Foodland. Go down that road approx. 600 metres, until the Stone Ducky Restaurant is on your right at this intersection, which you can plug into your Google Maps: 47.315900, -52.812220. Proceed straight through the intersection onto the gravel driveway. The driveway has a river and a guardrail on the right, and a chain link fence with barbed wire (and industrial supply yard) on the left. Drive all the way down the driveway as far as the wharf, and there will be a small parking lot on the right side, next to the water, where you can park. Please see this schematic.

 

If you need access to washroom facilities beforehand, there is a Tim Hortons & gas station about 5 minutes farther south, at the intersection of Highway 10 and Witless Bay Line (please be sure to allow enough time to get there and back to the wharf on time), or you can call/text Michael (709-690-0538) or Taylor (519-719-7608) at least 45 minutes before the tour and we will meet you at our office where you can use the facilities (through the back door of Physio & Co. on South Side Road in Bay Bulls: https://maps.app.goo.gl/XyWB2iH3AxMfVv4A7).

 

Please arrive at the wharf between 9:30-9:45 so that we have time to outfit everyone with a correctly-sized life jacket or floater suit, sign waivers, explain relevant safety information, and depart on time.
